Yields: 6 servings Prep time: 15 minutes Cook time: 45 minutes Ingredients: 1 pound andouille sausage, sliced 5 slices bacon, chopped 1 large onion, chopped 1 green bell pepper, chopped 2 celery stalks, chopped 2 cloves garlic, minced 1 (14.5 ounce) can diced tomatoes, undrained 1 (15 ounce) can tomato sauce 1 cup chicken broth 1 teaspoon dried oregano 1 teaspoon dried thyme 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (adjust to taste) 1/4 teaspoon black pepper 1 1/2 cups long-grain rice, uncooked Instructions: Cook bacon and sausage: In a large pot or Dutch oven over medium heat, cook the bacon until crisp.
