"Homemade" Garlic Bread

Prep Time: 10 minutes Cook Time: 10 minutes Total Time: 20 minutes Servings: 16   Ingredients: 1 loaf French bread ½ cup salted butter, softened 3 tablespoons olive oil 3-4 cloves garlic, minced (or 1 ½ teaspoons garlic powder) 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley 3 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese (optional) Instructions: Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Combine butter, olive oil, garlic, and parsley in a small bowl. Mix well. Cut the bread in half lengthwise. Spread the garlic butter mixture evenly on the cut sides of the bread.
